The Hudson Area Schools Hall of Fame Committee would like to congratulate the 2018 Hall of Fame recipients. Nominations were collected for outstanding alumni, teams, former employees or contributors to the school district. Several extremely deserving nominations were received. Two recipients were selected this year: Brian Evenson, former Hudson Area School teacher and coach; and Mollie Gamble Wolf, Hudson Area School alumnus, former community business owner and community volunteer.
"Throughout the tradition of excellence at Hudson Area Schools, numerous individuals have made a significant and lasting impact on our district," said Superintendent of Schools Mike Osborne. "Recognizing the accomplishments of past graduates, employees, coaches and contributors inspires the present and future members of the school and community to strive for even higher achievements and positive involvement within our school district and community."
The induction of the 2018 Hall of Fame recipients will occur during the annual alumni banquet on July 28, 2018. Social time begins at 4:00 p.m., the Hall of Fame awards presentation begins at 5:00 p.m., and is followed by dinner and the alumni program which this year honors the classes of 1968, 1993 and 2018. Reservations of $20 per person are due by July 16th to Jan Fisher at 517-260-2570.
