Kindergarten Round Up &
Elementary Report Cards Update
Little Tigers we are winding down to the end of our school year...we cannot thank you and your families enough for staying connected! We are working hard to move forward and get ready for next fall! Here are a few updates as we finish up this school year...
For Kindergarten Round UP, we are postponing the Assessment appointments, we will let you know when the future date is as soon as we can. We will keep your same time, the day will just be different. We would still like to collect your registration paperwork that was mailed to you. As well as make copies of the required documentation of your child's birth certificate, proof of residency and shot records. We will have 3 times set up for you to drive up and bring these to the school so we can quickly copy these documents and collect registration packets. This will help us prepare and be ready to go for our next school year. Please choose one of these times to come and drop off and bring your documentation for your child...
Monday June 1st @ 8:00 - 10:00 am
Tuesday, June 2nd @ 12:00-2:00 pm
Wednesday, June 3rd @ 4:00-6:00 pm
We will have staff at LIncoln to help collect and run the paperwork, just pull up and we will take care of you!
Secondly, teachers will be sending updated report cards via classroom dojo. Your child's report cards will be updated as of Friday, March 13th, 2020. This will be the only way we are sending them home since the report card was not fully complete due to the Covid-19 pandemic. All students will be promoted to the next grade in accordance to Governor Whitmer's school plan. Thank you for your understanding. Teachers will upload the report card on either Tuesday, June 9th or Wednesday June 10th.

Mr. Beard will be posting on Facebook the order he'll be going in each day (by name only, not address), as well as updates as he travels from home to home indicating when he's en route to the next home. The pictures, along with a few speeches, will later be compiled in a video to be shared with the graduating class.

Pomp & Circumstance Parade
Hudson Area Schools will be hosting a parade to celebrate and honor its graduates Saturday, July 25 at 1pm (rain date if needed Aug. 15 at 1pm). Graduates will be expected to sit in the passenger seat of their vehicles, in cap and gown, driven by a family member; additional family members may accompany in the vehicle. We will begin the parade route in the CSI parking lot off Munson Hwy. Students may decorate their vehicles, appropriately, if they wish. The route will pass through Lincoln Elementary School's parking lot before ending at the MS/ JH/ HS building, with students individually getting out of vehicles to cross an outdoor stage where they may have photos taken. There will be designated areas along the parade route near the school building for additional family and friends of each graduate to watch the procession. Please plan on arriving by noon to to be assigned your alphabetical place in the parade order.
While we understand that this is not how anyone imagined this year ending for our seniors, we are appreciative of the flexibility, understanding, and support that has been shared during an unprecedented and uncertain time. We hope that all of our graduates will be able to participate with the parade, but it is not required, and therefore we know that some may have plans already that cannot be changed preventing them from participating.
Please look for further details about this celebration to be posted on the district's website and Facebook page as we get within two-weeks of the July date.
